Celebrating for 10 Years and More
Wow! Ten years already! Seems like just yesterday that there was building work going on and chaos reigning supreme as everybody struggled to get the rooms ready in time for the first summer celebration with Neelam and Milarepa and his band.
But no, here we were celebrating the ten years of an Osho Oasis in Somerset. Kanta had invited all the fellow travellers who had contributed in some way to make Croydon Hall what it is today.
A lot of the older faces had turned up. Habiba and Madheru dropped by for the day. Heeren, Islam and Kamla, Yatro and Nishok leading the Heart Dance, Phoebe and Vivek, Veena (coordinating pictures and some events), the (now renamed band) Presence playing their beautiful music, as always, bringing so much silence, joy and celebration to the gathering of friends. And many more, too numerous to be named, came for the celebration making it a truly joyous occasion.
As usual, there was abundant food. The five-star kitchen, under Shantidas’ able stewardship, had once again produced amazing food for all. The British weather, true to part, ensured that there was a bonfire burning away outside Rinzai keeping everybody warm, and young Mike gainfully employed!
Prageet the MC, had everybody in splits as he and his troupe recounted – Not His-Story, Not Her Story - Croydon Hall – Our Story. And were the Bollywood dancers specially flown in from Mumbai? And was that Shilpa Shetty wiggling away in the front? And Nishok with his very clever CD of the gaps between the songs… Hope he is raking it in now as everybody thronged to buy his album after his show!

Joyous celebration with Osho meditations.
A big thanks goes up to everybody who has enabled Crodyon Hall to become what it is today: venue organisers, community members, workshop participants, fellow travellers who have come for celebrations, festivals, meditation weekends and guests and all others.
It was a really heartfelt occasion. As we live our busy lives it brings home the point how important connecting on a heart level is!

Visiting our friends at Osho Leela
We are still under the energy wave of our 24-hour Extravaganza visit to Osho Leela, a sister centre situated in the heart of Dorset. It is a beautiful place with an international, vibrant and meditative community. We started the evening with the AUM meditation, followed by a delicious dinner, Biodanza and a fancy dress party with the theme "What Hero Are You?"
